La Rosiere is a pedestrianised resort in the heart of the Tarentaise valleys and at the foot of the Italian face of Mont Blanc. Sat at 1850m, it benefits from southerly exposures and has an incredible record of snow throughout the season. Don't forget your sunnies!
Sitting at the border of both France and Italy, gives you the opportunity to ski in two countries on one ski holiday which is always a great experience.
If you're a non-skier, there's plenty for you to do in La Rosiere whether that's relaxing in one of the many spas or getting your adrenaline fill on the luge, there's something for everyone!

The ski area that La Rosiere sits in is called Espace San Bernado and gives you access to 150km of pistes.
La Rosiere has something for everyone, from beginners through to experts. With plenty of green pistes and designated beginner ski lifts/carpet, there's the opportunity for those on their first ski holiday to get a real feel for skiing. Plenty of wide, cruisey, sunny blues are yours to practice your skills or as a cooldown if you've tackled the black piste "Etagne" with a 74% angle! If that hasn't satisfied your adrenaline thirst, head over to the Italian side and look for la Francois Berthod which often is used for ski and telemark world cups!
There are a total of 38 lifts, including 1 gondola, 21 chairlifts, 11 draglifts and 5 moving carpets. There are 82 pisted runs in La Rosiere including 8 green runs, 25 blue runs, 35 red runs and 14 black runs. If you're looking to get some tricks in, head to "fun area" Petit-St Barnard or the freeride area. Don't forget the off-piste here!
Even with a good snow record (often in the top 5 resorts for snowfall in the Alps), there are over 400 snow cannons to help keep that snow nice and fresh!

Les Cimes Blanches La Rosiere is a fantastic value 4* residence for those wanting to stay in the great, family-friendly resort of La Rosiere. Located at the foot of the slopes, this residence offers great access to/from the hotel to the slopes and amazing views of the mountains! Guests are also free to enjoy the indoor heated pool and the spa facilities, which include a hot tub, saunas, and a steam room.
Not known for a particularly heavy apres ski and nightlife scene, there are still plenty of options for food and drink on and off the mountain!
Check out Village Igloo for some on-mountain drinks, often with a live DJ blasting out some tunes whilst you relax in the sun. We also love Via Ferrata whether you're looking for some apres or something to nibble on.
There are no shared transfers to La Rosiere so the only way to get there is to either drive or get private transfers. Private transfers offer a door to door service and there's no waiting around at the airport. For groups of 8 (which is the sweet spot for minibus transfers) they will be pretty good value.
