Chalet Des Neiges Plein Sud is situated right in the centre of the resort Val Thorens. The apartments, which have been decorated in the Savoyard tradition, offer the full mountain experience as the apartments also come with mountain views.

Plein Sud offers a range of apartments that have large living spaces in a friendly atmosphere. You will also be able to take advantage of the swimming pool (located at about 200m), sauna and fitness room.

Anybody who has been skiing and has carried their skis or snowboards through the centre of the resort will know the advantage of staying in ski in / ski out apartments.

Those staying in the Chalet Des Neiges Plein Sud residence can benefit from direct slope access via the blue slope (the "Plein Sud") from the ski lockers on the 5th floor, eliminating the need for bus trips and long walks through the resort.

Apartment rooms at the residence range from those suitable for 4 people to those suitable for 14 people. All rooms have a gorgeous mountain view, include a fully equipped kitchen, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.

Included with your apartment is access to a private ski locker which also has a shoe dryer - great for keeping your toes toasty!

Residence Plein Sud board basis

All of the apartments at Chalet des Neiges Plein Sud have fully functioning kitchens, so you are able to stay here self-catered and cook your own meals each night. This gives you the most flexibility of what you eat and when, a great choice when you have kids in the group. It can also be a great way of keeping the price of your holiday down.

We have also teamed up with nearby local restaurants to be able to offer this accommodation half-board, dinners only or B&B if you prefer not to cook on your holiday.

This would include continental buffet breakfasts, with breads, pastries, eggs, meats and cheese, juices and hot drinks, would be served in Scandinavian Brasserie & Wine Bar which is around a 3 minute walk from the residence. For your evening meals, you have the choice of eating in Scandinavian or Johns American. This is a great way to try different food options throughout the week. These restaurants range from 3 - 5 minute walk from the Chalet des Neiges Plein Sud.

In Val Thorens you have 2 options when it comes to ski passes, the Val Thorens local ski pass which includes approximately 150km of pistes, so plenty for beginners and intermediate level skiers or as mentioned previously the full 3 Valleys ski pass. The full 3 Valleys ski pass allows you to ski over to neighbouring ski resorts Meribel and Courchevel.

Val Thorens itself caters to a wide range of group types, whether you are a couple, a family or a large group there is something for everyone. For groups looking to party, Val Thorens is right up there in terms of aprés ski, bars and nightlife. For couples, there's a wide range of amazing restaurants for a lovely romantic meal. For families, there are many off slope activities to keep the kids entertained for the duration of your stay including a bowling alley, a sports centre with a swimming pool, a fun park (soft play/play park), a toboggan run, a cinema, an ice rink, snow groomer rides etc.
