The Residence Atria Crozats Avoriaz apartments are available on a self catering basis and are located close to the centre of the resort, meaning it’s a short walk to all of the fantastic alpine restaurants and bars. There’s also a horse drawn taxi service across the pedestrianised resort if that takes your fancy.

These apartments are stylish and modern, and there is an on-site spa with a sauna, hammam and fitness room available to use for a supplement. These apartments are ski in, ski out, offering instant access to the 600km of pistes that make up the Portes du Soleil ski area. To make it easier for guests, there’s also a dedicated shuttle service which links these apartments to different parts of the resort.

All of the apartments provide comfortable, cosy and warm accommodation in a variety of apartment sizes which work brilliantly for groups of all sizes.

There are a number of different apartment sizes to choose from, starting at one bedroom apartments which can sleep up to four guests with 2 single beds and a double sofa bed. The largest apartment sleeps up to 6 people with a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with 2 single beds and 1 double sofa bed.

Each apartment has a dining area and a kitchenette, which is equipped with everything needed for preparing meals. In our personal opinion, self catering is always the best option for enjoying a ski holiday as it allows guests to sample all the bars and restaurants, whilst also having the option to stay in and cook.

Located at the top of the ski resort of Avoriaz, ski in, ski out access can be enjoyed, and all of the bars and restaurants of Avoriaz are close by. It’s a fully pedestrianised resort, and horse and cart taxis operate for tired legs.

Why Avoriaz?

Situated at 1800 metres, Avoriaz is simply one of the best ski resorts in Europe, offering breathtaking views and reliable snow cover. As part of the vast Portes du Soleil ski area (one of the largest in the world), it provides access to approximately 600 km of diverse slopes suitable for all skill levels.

There are 2 ski passes available to book in Avoriaz, the Avoriaz local area ski pass, which covers approximately 120km of pistes, which is more than enough for beginners or even intermediate level skiers. Or you can book the aforementioned full area Portes du Soleil ski pass that covers a whopping 600km of pistes.

Ideally located a short transfer from Geneva airport (approximately 1 hour 40 minutes), making it a great choice for families or for those wanting a shorter ski holiday. In terms of a resort with a short transfer time, you can't really beat what Avoriaz offers.

The resort’s unique car-free village, ensures a safe environment that is still easily navigable by horse-drawn sleigh or snow vehicle, which is always a lovely treat and sets the tone for your upcoming Alpine adventure. Transfers get dropped off at the Avoriaz welcome centre and from there you can book your sleigh or snow vehicle to take you onto your accommodation.

The resort is picturesque with the accommdation in Avoriaz all featuring distinctive wooden architecture, which creates a wonderful Alpine atmosphere.

Families will appreciate the children's village, the Aquariaz water park, as well as the many other off-slope activities available. Couples will love the array of fantastic restaurants that the resort has to offer, and groups looking to party will enjoy the aprés ski venues, variety of bars and nightlife.
