MMV Les Bergers is ski out, and is almost ski in with just a short walk to get back to the accommodation. Ideally, there is an on-site Skiset hire shop and it's close to the ESF ski school meeting point. The MMV staff are also able to offer accompanying children (4 to 13 years only) to their first ESF ski lessons which makes it easier for those groups with kids in ski school.

This accommodation is a great base to explore all that the vast Grand Domaine ski area has to offer. With around 250km of pistes, there's something for skiers of all abilities including the longest ski run in the world! Alpe d'Huez is famous for being sunny throughout the season and has been dubbed "the sunny island", so top up your tan whilst being surrounded by snow.

Alpe d'Huez is a fantastic choice for various group types including families or couples or adult groups, the ski area is fantastic and there are lots of facilities and activities in the resort to keep everyone entertained. For those looking to party there is good apres-ski and plenty of bars and nightlife. The resort centre is a short walk from the accommodation or a quick ride on the free resort shuttle bus.

A particular highlight of this accommodation is the spa area which is nice to have after a long day on the slopes to ease aching bodies. In the spa area there is a large outdoor swimming pool, hot tubs, and a sauna. Treatments such as massages are also available for a supplement and there are also fitness sessions for the health-conscious in your group.

MMV Les Bergers is an ideal choice for families as there are 5 kids clubs (Baby, Kids, Juniors, Teens, Ados) for 18 months to 17 year olds. For the age groups 18 months to 10 years the kids' clubs run all season and from 11 to 17 years they run during the French school holidays. The kids' clubs put on a host of indoor and outdoor activities such as games, arts and crafts, shows, snow games like snowball fights and other contests. There's also entertainment going on for both kids and adults in the evenings.

Guests staying at MMV Les Bergers have the option to stay full board (breakfasts, lunches and dinners) or All Inclusive (full board with drinks included).

For breakfasts, lunches and dinners there's a Savoyard-style buffet on offer and the restaurant caters for vegans, vegetarians and for those with gluten-free allergies, with varied options for kids to enjoy. There's also a Raclette specialty on one of the nights during the week. Picnic baskets are also available for lunches out and about.

All Inclusive includes certain drinks including - hot drinks, soft drinks, juices, 1 type of draught beer and a selection of other alcohol - unlimited until 11pm.

To relax, guests can enjoy the on-site bar area and the large lounge area with seating and a fireplace.

Alpe d'Huez won the best ski resort in Europe as recent as 2020.

For the party people, there's great apres-ski and plenty of bars and nightlife.

Unlike many other top French ski resorts, it's only a short transfer (1.5-2 hours) from Grenoble airport.
