Recently refurbished, the Residence Saskia Falaise Avoriaz apartments provide great value, modern and comfortable apartments. With a range of apartment sizes, these apartments are perfect for groups of all types and sizes, from groups of friends right across to families.

These apartments are split up into a number of different buildings. There are exceptional views of the village and the ski area from the apartments.

All of the apartments feature a kitchenette, with a microwave, oven and dishwashers. All of the living areas also have a flat screen TV with plenty of channels to choose from. There’s a bar as well as a restaurant, and there’s a children's club to keep the little ones busy. A 24 hour reception also runs throughout the winter months so regardless of the time you plan on checking in, their will be staff to welcome you.

There are 5 different apartment types to choose between, with the smallest being a studio apartment sleeping up to four people with a bunk bed and 2 day beds. The largest apartment can sleep up to six people, with a double bed, day beds and a bunk bed.

These apartments are self catering, with a kitchenette in each apartment allowing guests to either stay in and cook - or head out into Avoriaz and enjoy the local bars and restaurants.

Staying self catered is ideal for groups looking to keep the cost of the holiday down or for anyone with allergies or for those with fussy eaters.

There are nearby shops for groceries and supplies and during the ski season, there’s a shopping service available for those wanting to cook - allowing guests to save time and the effort of heading to the local supermarkets whilst on holiday.

One of the very best things about the Residence Saskia Falaise is its location. Many of the apartments are ski in, ski out and those which aren’t are incredibly close to the ski slopes. There are plenty of car parks around, and sitting at the entrance to the resort - these apartments are near local bars, restaurants and shops.

Why Avoriaz?

Situated at 1800 metres, Avoriaz is simply one of the best ski resorts in Europe, offering breathtaking views and reliable snow cover. As part of the vast Portes du Soleil ski area (one of the largest in the world), it provides access to approximately 600 km of diverse slopes suitable for all skill levels.

There are 2 ski passes available to book in Avoriaz, the Avoriaz local area ski pass, which covers approximately 120km of pistes, which is more than enough for beginners or even intermediate level skiers. Or you can book the aforementioned full area Portes du Soleil ski pass that covers a whopping 600km of pistes.

Ideally located a short transfer from Geneva airport (approximately 1 hour 40 minutes), making it a great choice for families or for those wanting a shorter ski holiday. In terms of a resort with a short transfer time, you can't really beat what Avoriaz offers.

The resort’s unique car-free village, ensures a safe environment that is still easily navigable by horse-drawn sleigh or snow vehicle, which is always a lovely treat and sets the tone for your upcoming Alpine adventure. Transfers get dropped off at the Avoriaz welcome centre and from there you can book your sleigh or snow vehicle to take you onto your accommodation.

The resort is picturesque with the accommdation in Avoriaz all featuring distinctive wooden architecture, which creates a wonderful Alpine atmosphere.

Families will appreciate the children's village, the Aquariaz water park, as well as the many other off-slope activities available. Couples will love the array of fantastic restaurants that the resort has to offer, and groups looking to party will enjoy the aprés ski venues, variety of bars and nightlife.
