Les Balcons de Belle Plagne

Les Balcons de Belle Plagne is a 4* ski-in/-ski out residence. and the apartments are designed to feel like you’re staying in a chalet (without the price tag of a chalet!). The residence is located at the foot of the slopes with easy access into town – around a 5-10 minute walk.


The on-site facilities here are a great way to wind down after a hard day skiing, and your stay would include free access to an indoor swimming pool. Also included are; hot tub, sauna and fitness as well as spa with the option of booking additional spa treatments. As well as car parking, a mini supermarket just 600m away, and private ski lockers.


Belle Plagne sits at 2050m, within the La Plagne ski area also giving access to the wider Paradiski area. With designated beginner areas and a good choice of gentle runs, La Plagne is a great choice for beginners and families. Furthermore, there is a wide range of blue runs as well as reds and off-piste options for the more advanced skier.


 

Les Balcons de Belle Plagne Board


At Les Balcons de Belle Plagne you can stay self-catered, B&B or half-board. For instance, the half-board option would consist of buffet breakfasts and three-course evening meals (including a specialty meal such as raclette, fondue etc). Additionally, there are no nights off during your stay, so you get a 3-course meal for every night of your stay. As a result, this makes the half board option exceptionally good value and you don't need to worry about booking restaurants.

Belle Plagne is a popular resort amongst our customers, as it provides a peaceful family-friendly atmosphere and of course fantastic skiing, with access to more than 400km of pistes to explore.


Belle Plagne sits at 2050m (so is very snowsure), with designated beginner areas and a good choice of gentle runs, La Plagne is a great choice for beginners and families. Furthermore, there is a wide range of blue runs as well as reds and off-piste options for the more advanced skier.


As well as the skiing, there's a wealth of other winter sports activities to try including - Bobsleigh (in La Plagne), mono-bob (in La Plagne), snowshoe hikes, and more.


Although a quieter resort compared to larger ones, there are plenty of bars and restaurants to enjoy!


 

Apartment Sizes at Les Balcons de Belle Plagne


With a range of apartments on offer at Les Balcons de Belle Plagne, the residence can accommodate pretty much any group size. Making use of the sofa beds is a good way to keep the costs down. But also, if you want more comfort then you can choose a bigger apartment and have everyone in bedrooms.


Each apartment offers a living area, a balcony, bathrooms featuring hydrotherapy bathtubs (with shower as well), and fully functioning kitchens. In addition, the 6-8 person apartments and up also offer wood burning stoves. There are apartments sleeping from 2 people all the way up to 20 people making it a great option for large groups, and a much cheaper alternative to a fully catered chalet.

There is a Skiset ski hire shop located in Les Balcons de Belle Plagne which makes everything a lot easier when getting your equipment sorted. Not only does it mean a very short walk to put your skis, boards and boots into your ski locker, it's also handy for any adjustments or changes you may need.

The ski school is located close by and the meeting points can be found easily on the map below. Like many of our other resorts, we use the ESF in Belle Plagne.

The largest apartment at Les Balcons de Belle Plagne. At 235m² and with 10 main rooms it can welcome up to 20 people. It has 9 bedrooms, all equipped with single beds except for two of them that have double beds. This apartment has 9 bathrooms, all equipped with a hydrotherapy bathtub as well as 9 separate toilets. The living room has a sofa bed for two, a TV, a phone and an Austrian stove. Check in is from 5pm and checkout by 10am. You can go to the reception earlier

Tourist tax is payable at 2.48€ per person per day (under 18's are free). The reception will also ask for a security deposit for each apartment which is 460€. This can be paid on a credit card and is pre authorised so the money doesn't actually get taken from your card.

Monday - Friday: 0800h - 1900h Saturdays: 0800h-2000h

We will contact the reception on your behalf prior to your departure and will inform them of your arrival time. There is usually a safety deposit box or similar in which your keys will be left. If you are delayed and haven't made any prior late arrival arrangements then its is very important that you call the reception before it closes and let them know your new arrival time.

Yes, you will get ski lockers specific to your apartment that are lockable.

Yes, there is an unattended luggage storage area which you can utilise if you are waiting for your apartment or transfer.

It is possible to request this up to 15 days prior to your arrival. The request cannot be guaranteed.

There is an initial supply, more can be purchased form the resort supermarket and shops. Or take some with you.

Yes, there are hairdryers in the apartments. You can also borrow irons from the reception.

Yes, you will get an initial supply in the apartment of around 10 logs. More can be requested from the reception / garage, a fee may be chargeable for extra logs.

Unless you pay for end of stay cleaning (from 49€ - increases dependent on apartment size) then you will have to clean the apartment to the standard it was when you arrived. The reception will provide instructions for this.
