L'Eclose Prestige Apartments Alpe d'Huez

This upmarket residence only opened in 2022 so there's no risk of any tired rooms here! Eclose Prestige apartments in Alpe d'Huez offer modern accommodation with direct access to 250kms of skiing in the Grandes Rousses ski area and a short transfer from Grenoble airport of 1.5 hours.

 

The residence is located a short walk from the village, about an 8 minute walk to one of the main streets with shops/bars/restaurants. The nearest lift is the Alpe Express, which is close by, meaning you can be on your way up the mountain in minutes. The ski area of Alpe d'Huez is vast with 250kms of pistes available all linked by a modern lift system. The highest point of the ski area is at the Pic Blanc (3,300m) and from there you can access Europe's longest ski run called La Sarenne (16kms).

 

Our nearest ski hire shop is Skiset Henri Sports IV L'Eclose, a 2-3minute walk from the accommodation. Most shared transfer providers have a drop off at Palais des sport which is only a 7-minute walk from the residence.

Each apartment comes fully equipped with a microwave/oven, ceramic hob, toaster, fridge, and dishwasher meaning you can fully self-cater for your whole holiday.


The residence does offer a hearty buffet breakfast that gets good reviews. We can add this to your booking which means the mornings are taken care of and you can just focus on hitting the slopes.


There is a restaurant in the accommodation which can be booked directly in the resort. There are also plenty of other options in the main village, just an 8-10 min walk away.


 

The Spa at L'Eclose Prestige Apartments Alpe d'Huez

 

The Payot Spa at Eclose has a large indoor swimming pool which is free to use for guests. It's great for relaxing in after a day on the slopes. It is a large, modern facility and it also has a children's' paddling pool. There is a fitness room attached.


The sauna and Hamman are also free to use for guests but any treatments are extra, the spa offers a variety of massages and facials as well as other treatments.

Frequent Questions Asked

You can check in from 5-8pm and check out is at 10am. It's always worth going to the reception when you arrive to see whether the apartment is ready.

You will need to pay your tourist tax directly to the residence, this is €2.50 per person per day (+18). You will also have to pay a refundable damage deposit, this is €500 per apartment. This will be held until your apartment has been checked at the end of your stay. This can be paid by credit card at the reception when you check in. The funds are pre-authorised which means they are not taken off your card, but the amount will not be available to spend.

You have free access to the spa area. The spa area includes an indoor heated swimming pool, hot tubs, sauna, steam rooms, hammam and fitness room. The spa is open from 10am to 8pm everyday with treatments available from 10am - 12pm and 4pm – 8pm.

Please contact us in advance of booking and we will advise. There is disabled access in certain room types.
