This 4* residence is located in the quieter area of Val Thorens (Plein Sud) making it a great option for families or those looking to concentrate on their skiing. There are a number of different ways to access the slopes from Chalet des Neiges Residence Hermine. Just 150m from the reception you can get on the Plein Sud slope and be on your way. It's then possible to ski back to the residence but if you are a beginner you may feel more comfortable skiing down Plein Sud and then taking the 3 minute walk back to your apartment.

Relax each evening in the indoor heated swimming pool and sauna within the residence that you have free access to. You can also use the sauna and fitness room located in the sister residence Plein Sud, around 200m away. This is a great option if you non-skiers or beginners in the group as well.

Undercover parking is also available at this residence for €90-€120 per car per week, so if you do choose to drive out you don't need to worry about where you park the car. There is also a luggage store within the residence. Cots and high chairs can be hired for no cost, as well as hire of a raclette/fondue set. Dogs are allowed in this residence for €75 per dog.

Check in is from 17:00 (if you arrive earlier, we always recommend checking if your apartment is available early just in case) and check out is 10:00.

Board basis

All of the apartments at Chalet des Neiges Residence Hermine have fully functioning kitchens, so you are able to stay here self-catered and cook your own meals each night. This gives you the most flexibility of what you eat and when, a great choice when you have kids in the group. It can also be a great way of keeping the price of your holiday down.

We have also teamed up with local restaurants to be able to offer this accommodation half-board, dinners only or B&B if you prefer not to cook on your holiday.

Your continental buffet breakfasts, including breads, pastries, eggs, meats and cheese, juices and hot drinks, would be served in Scandinavian Brasserie & Wine Bar which is around a 4-minute walk from the residence. For your evening meals, you have the choice of eating in Scandinavian or Johns American. This is a great way to try different food options throughout the week. These restaurants range from 4 - 7 minute walk from the Chalet des Neiges Residence Hermine.

The resort is the highest in Europe (2300m), meaning excellent snow conditions throughout the ski season from late November to late April/early May.

Val Thorens is part of the largest linked ski area in the world, the 3 Valleys, with access to 600km of pistes to explore - catering for skiers and boarders of all abilities. So whether you are a beginner, (Val Thorens is a great place to learn) or if you are an expert, there is so much for all.

The ESF ski school in Val Thorens is great, with friendly English speaking instructors. It's the perfect place to learn or to hone your skills.

In Val Thorens you have 2 options when it comes to ski passes, the Val Thorens local ski pass which includes approximately 150km of pistes, so plenty for beginners and intermediate level skiers or as mentioned previously the full 3 Valleys ski pass. The full 3 Valleys ski pass allows you to ski over to neighbouring ski resorts Meribel and Courchevel.

Val Thorens itself caters to a wide range of group types, whether you are a couple, a family or a large group there is something for everyone. For groups looking to party, Val Thorens is right up there in terms of aprés ski, bars and nightlife. For couples, there's a wide range of amazing restaurants for a lovely romantic meal. For families, there are many off slope activities to keep the kids entertained for the duration of your stay including a bowling alley, a sports centre with a swimming pool, a fun park (soft play/play park), a toboggan run, a cinema, an ice rink, snow groomer rides etc.

The 4* Chalet des Neiges Residence Hermine apartments can sleep from 4 people in 2 bedrooms through to 12 people in 6 bedrooms, making this accommodation a great option for groups wanting to all stay in the same apartment. All apartments have balconies and safes, as well as a hairdryer and heated towel rail (excluding 1).

Each apartment features a fully equipped kitchen featuring oven, microwave, electric hobs, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric coffee maker, toaster and kettle.

All apartments from the 3 bedroom 6 person 72m² apartments have a fireplace in the living room, and come with a bag of wood (more can purchased at reception) great for those picture-perfect evenings snuggled up on the sofa together.
