L'Ours Blanc Alpe d'Huez

L’Ours Blanc Alpe d'Huez is one of our most popular self catering residences in the brilliant resort of Alpe d’Huez. These apartments are perfectly suited for families and groups of all sizes, and it's central location means it’s ideal for those who want to get out and enjoy everything the resort has to offer.

The apartments are constructed out of wood, and offer incredible views over the Oisan mountain range. Apartments available include standard apartments, as well as superior/upgraded apartments. Regardless of the apartment that you choose - all are well equipped, well furnished and very comfortable. As an added benefit, all of the apartments have a balcony - perfect for sipping a drink whilst enjoying the panoramic views.

There is a bus stop directly opposite the apartments, and the ski lifts are approximately a five minute walk away. These apartments also provide access to the skating rink as well as the shopping centre, with it’s bars, restaurants and bakery.

There’s a few different apartment types to choose from, with the smallest being a studio that sleeps up to 4 people and the largest being a 2 bedroom apartment that sleeps 6 people. Regardless of your group size you can choose a combination of apartments to suit your needs.

These apartments are all self catering, and all have a well equipped kitchenette which includes an oven, dishwasher, kettle, coffee machine and toaster.

Choosing to stay self catered is a great way to enjoy a ski holiday in our opinion, offering you and your party complete flexibility over what you eat and drink, whenever you want to. Self catering is also fantastic for families, who can find a routine which suits them best.

Why visit Alpe d’Huez?

Alpe d’Huez is a fantastic resort to visit. It’s one of the sunniest ski resorts in the Alps and the pistes across the resort cater for all abilities and levels of skier, including the famous Sarenne run which is a sixteen kilometre piste which runs from the glacier. Back down in the resort, there’s always plenty going on - with plenty of lively bars and great restaurants to enjoy.
