Residence Electra Avoriaz

Residence Electra Avoriaz is a new apartment complex that sits above the pedestrianised resort of Avoriaz 1800 in the Les Crozats area. This area is absolutely ideal for families and larger groups - and this tastefully designed apartment complex is situated right at the foot of the slopes allowing for ski in / ski out access which means carrying skis and marching across ski resorts in boots is a thing of the past.

Inside, all of the apartments feel spacious, bright, and modern - there’s free Wi-Fi in all of the apartments, and the apartments perfectly blend contemporary and traditional styles. Those wanting to start off on the lifts, or at a ski school - will benefit from being five minutes away from both. The main resort of Avoriaz is linked via lifts.

All of the apartments within the residence feature a well equipped kitchenette, with everything you may need to cook for you and your party. There are ceramic hobs, a fridge, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher as well as TV with international channels. All of the bed linen and towels are included, as is a cleaning kit - your apartment is cleaned at the end of your stay. There is also a shopping delivery service which is available throughout the ski season.

Residence Electra Avoriaz Board

These apartments are self-catering, with well equipped kitchenettes with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

This means that you would be able to eat what you want when you want. This is a fantastic option for families with any fussy kids or for those with food allergies or for those just looking to keep the cost of their holiday down. There are shops nearby for groceries and supplies.

There is the aforementioned shopping delivery service available throughout the ski season.

The residence enjoys ski in / ski out access whilst being at the top of Avoriaz - in a quiet area which is absolutely perfect for families who want to avoid the party areas.

Why Avoriaz?

Situated at 1800 meters, Avoriaz is simply one of the best ski resorts in Europe, offering breathtaking views and reliable snow cover. As part of the vast Portes du Soleil ski area (one of the largest in the world), it provides access to approximately 600 km of diverse slopes suitable for all skill levels.

There are 2 ski passes available to book in Avoriaz, the Avoriaz local area ski pass, which covers approximately 120km of pistes, which is more than enough for beginners or even intermediate level skiers. Or you can book the aforementioned full area Portes du Soleil ski pass that covers a whopping 600km of pistes.

Ideally located a short transfer from Geneva airport (approximately 1 hour 40 minutes), making it a great choice for families or for those wanting a shorter ski holiday. In terms of a resort with a short transfer time, you can't really beat what Avoriaz offers.



The resort’s unique car-free village, ensures a safe environment that is still easily navigable by horse-drawn sleigh or snow vehicle, which is always a lovely treat and sets the tone for your upcoming Alpine adventure. Transfers get dropped off at the Avoriaz welcome centre and from there you can book your sleigh or snow vehicle to take you onto your accommodation.

The resort is picturesque with the accommdation in Avoriaz all featuring distinctive wooden architecture, which creates a wonderful Alpine atmosphere.

Families will appreciate the children's village, the Aquariaz water park, as well as the many other off-slope activities available. Couples will love the array of fantastic restaurants that the resort has to offer, and groups looking to party will enjoy the aprés ski venues, variety of bars and nightlife.
