While much more laid back than it’s lively neighbour, Pas de la Casa, Soldeu still offers a selection of quality bars and restaurants as well as pools and spas in some of the 4* and 5* hotels.

There are picturesque tree-lined runs and the large linked area of Grandvalira is on your doorstep with 210km to explore. With plenty of options for the intermediate skier a number of wide, gently sloping runs make it great for beginners too.

Accommodation In Soldeu

Soldeu is a great resort for people looking for a little bit of luxury on a budget. If you are tired of the cramped dated studios that many of the French resorts provide, Soldeu is the resort for you. There is a good selection of 4 and 5 star hotels that are very reasonably priced when compared to the French equivalents. Best sellers last season included the Sport Hotel, The Himalaia Soldeu and Hotel Piolets.

Another benefit of the accommodation in Soldeu and infact all the Andorran resorts is that to stay bed and breakfast or half board is very cost effective, it is surprising that to add on meals for the week does not affect the room rate hugely.
