Antares Avoriaz Apartment Details

Antares Avoriaz apartments are located in the Crozats area of the hugely popular, pedestrianised ski resort of Avoriaz. These apartments have beautiful views of the full Morzine valley, being high up - and the centre of Avoriaz is accessed through elevator systems.

The apartments themselves are contemporary in style, perfectly combining alpine charm and tradition with warm and comfortable modern accommodation - every apartment has a balcony, a TV in a living area as well as a bathroom which has a bath or a shower (or both!)

Sitting just above the main resort gives guests the best of both worlds - a quieter part of the resort, with also quick access to the main resort. These apartments are just one minute walk to the nursery slopes, kindergarten and lifts - and there’s ski in/ski out access so no need for crossing the ski resort with skis over your shoulder.

A full kitchenette is included in each apartment, with a fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine. There's a food delivery service available from the bakery too, for those who enjoy local breads and pastries.

There are three different types of apartments available, the smallest type being a four person studio. There is also a one bedroom apartment for 4 people and 1 bedroom + cabin apartment for 6 people.

These apartments are self catering, with the aforementioned kitchen space being available for food prep. This allows holiday-makers to keep the costs of their holiday down and is particulary great for those with fussy children or those with allergies. There are shops nearby for groceries and supplies.

Antares is a ski in, ski out residence, with a spa 900 yards away for days where skiing is off the cards. Quick access to the main resort, allows both peace and quiet, as well as party times in equal measure.

Why Avoriaz?

Situated at 1800 meters, Avoriaz is simply one of the best ski resorts in Europe, offering breathtaking views and reliable snow cover. As part of the vast Portes du Soleil ski area (one of the largest in the world), it provides access to approximately 600 km of diverse slopes suitable for all skill levels.

There are 2 ski passes available to book in Avoriaz, the Avoriaz local area ski pass, which covers approximately 120km of pistes, which is more than enough for beginners or even intermediate level skiers. Or you can book the aforementioned full area Portes du Soleil ski pass that covers a whopping 600km of pistes.

Ideally located a short transfer from Geneva airport (approximately 1 hour 40 minutes), making it a great choice for families or for those wanting a shorter ski holiday. In terms of a resort with a short transfer time, you can't really beat what Avoriaz offers.

The resort’s unique car-free village, ensures a safe environment that is still easily navigable by horse-drawn sleigh or snow vehicle, which is always a lovely treat and sets the tone for your upcoming Alpine adventure. Transfers get dropped off at the Avoriaz welcome centre and from there you can book your sleigh or snow vehicle to take you onto your accommodation.

The resort is picturesque with the accommodation in Avoriaz all featuring distinctive wooden architecture, which creates a wonderful Alpine atmosphere.

Families will appreciate the children's village, the Aquariaz water park, as well as the many other off-slope activities available. Couples will love the array of fantastic restaurants that the resort has to offer, and groups looking to party will enjoy the aprés ski venues, variety of bars and nightlife.
