The 4* Chalet des Neiges Arolles residence is a great base for a holiday in Arc 2000. A short button/T-bar lift (1 minute from the residence) takes you up to the main lifts, making access to the slopes so simple.
It is a great value choice for holiday-makers looking for a fantastic location that is part of a huge ski area (The Paradiski). The Paradiski ski area is the 2nd largest linked ski area in the world so it ticks the boxes for skiers of all abilities.
All of the apartments are comfortable, of a high standard and well equipped. Most of the apartments have fireplaces and some even have a private sauna!
A highlight of this residence is the free and unlimited access guests have to the onsite indoor swimming pool, sauna, and fitness room.

As all of the Chalet des Neiges Arolles apartments come equipped with fully functional kitchens, it makes a great choice for those wanting to stay self catered. This means that you would be able to eat what you want when you want. This is a fantastic option for families with any fussy kids or for those with food allergies. A swift stop at one of the resort supermarkets gives you free rein as to what you eat!
The residence does offer a bakery delivery service, you would just need to arrange this at the reception and that would be sent directly to your apartment in the morning.

There is a Skiset hire shop in the same building and the ESF ski school is close by the Arolles residence (about 500m away).
Why Book Arc 2000?
Les Arcs is made up of 4 main villages with Arc 2000 being the highest. Les Arcs is part of the 2nd largest linked ski area in the world, The Paradiski, which has 425km of pistes. Of that 18 runs are green, 129 are blue runs, 77 are red runs and 34 are black runs so there's something for all abilities. Another major plus is that 70% of that is at an altitude above 2000m, which means you can be guaranteed fantastic snow conditions for the duration of the ski season.
Arc 2000 itself is a quieter resort that offers an ideal base to explore all the Paradiski ski area has to offer. The accommodation here is excellent value and is so convenient for those just looking to ski, with very easy access to ski lifts you can really make the most of a full days skiing. There's plenty of bars of restaurants as well easy access to the resort just below Arc 1950 and the other Les Arcs villages.

What time can we check in/out at Residence Chalet des Neiges Arolles?
You can check in from 5pm and check out is at 10am. It's always worth going to the reception when you arrive to see whether the apartment is ready. They have a luggage storage room where you can leave your bags.
Will we have to pay anything on arrival?
You will need to pay your tourist tax directly to the residence, this is €2.40 per day per adult (+18). You will also need to pay a refundable deposit of €500 per apartment. This will be held until your apartment has been checked at the end of your stay. This can be paid by credit card at the reception when you check in. The funds are pre-authorised which means they are not taken off your card, but the amount will not be available to spend.

Yes, there are ski lockers designated per room.

Yes, there is a luggage room (unattended) for storing bags.
Can I request a nice view at Residence Chalet des Neiges Arolles?
Up to 15 days before travel, let us know if you have a preferred view, orientation, floor, building, or distance from reception, so we can inform the residence of your preferences. Subject to availability, we cannot guarantee that requests will be fulfilled but we will always ask for you.
Will toilet roll be provided?
An initial supply will be, after that you will need to purchase them.
Will wood be provided for the fireplaces?
A bag of wood will be provided for the apartment types with fireplaces. Extra bags of wood would be €10.
Are there hairdryers and irons?
Yes, there will be a hairdryer in the room. You can ask for an iron at the reception.
Will bed linen and towels be provided?
Yes, bed linen is provided and beds are made on arrival. Two towels are provided per person per week.
Will we have to clean our apartment at Residence Chalet des Neiges Arolles?
Cleaning at the end of the stay is included except for the kitchen and dishes. A cleaning kit is provided (sponge, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, bin bags). You can pay a supplement to have the kitchen cleaned, from €57 depending on the apartment size.
Is there Wi-Fi and is there a cost for this?
Yes, you would have free Wi-Fi access in the apartment.
Is the spa free and what are the opening times?
You have free and unlimited access to the indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and fitness room. Please ask the reception for opening times.

Is there a car park?
Yes, there is a covered car park. This is from €85-€100 per week per car and subject to availability. Please let us know early if you require a car parking space. There is a 2.15m height limit.
Is this residence good for kids/families?
Yes, kids will love the indoor swimming pool and the pool table in the reception.
Can I bring my pets?
Pets are welcome. Dogs would be €75 per week, cats €40 per week. Please advise the reception well in advance if you intend to bring your pet.
Is food included, are there any restaurants/shops nearby?
This is a self catering residence and the apartments come with fully functional kitchens, there are shops nearby for groceries. The reception offers a bakery service, you can get baked goods delivered to your apartment in the morning. Prepaid cards can be purchased from the reception for the nearby restaurant Le Savoy and the restaurants in the 5* Hotel Taj-I-Mah hotel.
Is there a resort shuttle bus and will I need to use it
There is a shuttle bus that operates between the main villages in Les Arcs if you want to explore those.
Is Residence Chalet des Neiges Arolles ski in / ski out?
The residence is not ski in, ski out. There is a short T-bar/button lift (1 minute/50m away) that takes you up to the main lifts so it’s very close to the ski area.
