This brand new (opening 2023) 4* MMV residence is in the family-friendly resort of Risoul 1850 and is ideally has ski in, ski out access. As it's brand new guests can expect modern and fresh apartments.

The residence is a fantastic base to explore all the Risoul ski area has to offer with 185km of pistes, including approximately 75km for beginners, 90km for intermediate level skiers and 20km for advanced skiers. The pistes tends to be quieter than those in more established ski resorts/areas so it's a great place for those learning how to ski or for families.

A highlight of the residence is the spa area which has a large indoor swimming pool, outdoor hot tub, hammam and sauna. Treatments such as massages are also available for a supplement and there are also fitness sessions for the health conscious.

Le Silvana Risoul 1850 is a perfect choice for families as there are 4 kids clubs (Kids, Juniors, Teens, Ados) for 4 to 17 year olds. For the age groups 4 to 10 years the kids' clubs run all season and from 11 to 17 years they run during the French school holidays. The kids' clubs put on a host of indoor and outdoor activities such as games, workshops, shows, arts and crafts, snow games and contests.

Staying self catered gives you great flexibility in regards to what you eat and when, this is particularly helpful for families with young kids or for those groups with fussy eaters.

All the kitchens have a ceramic hob, dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, toaster along with all the crockery and cutlery etc required for a comfortable stay.

There is also a breakfast service and a bakery service available for an alternative, or there are plenty of restaurants nearby the residence to enjoy.

Risoul 1850 as a resort

Sat at an altitude of 1850m Risoul is a quiet village that is linked to Vars to form part of the Domaine de la Foret Blanche ski area. With 185km of pistes, the ski area offers plenty for all abilities but is ideal for beginners and families as the slopes tend to be quieter than larger resorts/ski areas.

Risoul tends to have a great snow record eventhough it gets a lot of sunshine and the ski area is open from mid-December to April.

Risoul will suit families and couples rather than those looking for apres-ski and a party. However, there are still plenty of bars, restaurants and shops to enjoy.

The apartments can sleep from 4 people in a 1 bedroom and sofa bed apartment through to 10 person, 4 bedroom apartment, making this accommodation a fantastic option for various group sizes.

Each apartment features a well-equipped kitchen, a TV with Chromecast, a fireplace, a balcony and at least one private bathroom with hair dryer and towel dryer.

The premium apartments also include a dedicated parking space, a TV in the master bedroom, a whirlpool bath, bunk beds made on arrival and early arrival (from 2pm).
