L'Ecrin des Neiges Tignes

This premium residence is located in the Val Claret region of the resort. The building itself is constructed from natural materials such as wood and stone  - providing an authentic type of accommodation. Inside, the apartments feature warm and comfortable furniture, with wooden interiors - further adding to the cosy feel of the accommodation. The apartments also have balconies allowing you to enjoy the fantastic views on offer.


The residence has a beautiful lounge with a fireplace which guests can enjoy. During the ski season, there is also a shopping delivery service available, as well as breads and pastries which can be ordered from reception. There’s also board games, books and a PlayStation which can be borrowed.


The ski slopes are around 450 yards away and these apartments are very close to local shops. There is a free shuttle bus that serves the whole resort, as well as the other regions of the resort, so you can jump on if you don't feel like walking anywhere.

There are a huge number of different apartment types available, to suit different requirements, different budgets and different part sizes. There is also a divide between the types of apartments available, with standard apartments being available alongside superior apartments.


The smallest apartment available sleeps four people, with one bedroom and one sofa bed - and the largest apartment, the superior four bedroom apartment sleeps ten people - with 3 twin rooms, one double room and one sofa bed in the living room.

Apartment descriptions

What time can we check-in/out?

You can check-in from 4-5pm. There is an early check-in option that is from 50€ so if you arrive in the morning/lunchtime then ask at reception for this option. You have to check out by 10am on the following Saturday. There is a late check out option of 50€ that allows you to have the apartment until 6pm on the final day, subject to availability.

Is there parking available?

There are 30 spaces available at L'Ecrin des Neiges Tignes, please contact us for prices and availability. The parking is covered.

Can I request a room with a view?

Yes, you can request a specific room from 15 days before your arrival date.

Is there wifi available?

Yes, You can connect up to 5 devices per room.

Is there a laundrette?

Yes, tokens on sale at reception. 9€ for wash, dry and liquid.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, pets are allowed to stay, there is a 70€ charge payable at reception.

Can I order bread?

Yes, you can order bread and pastries to be delivered to reception for your convienience.

What will we have to pay for on arrival?

Tourist tax @ €2.48 per person per day (free for under 18's). You will also have to leave a security deposit of €300 upon arrival. This will be held until your apartment has been checked at the end of your stay. This can be paid by credit card at the reception when you check-in. The funds are pre-authorised which means they aren’t taken off your card, but the amount will not be available to spend.

What are the reception opening times?

The reception is open 0700h to 2300h on Saturdays. During the week it's open 0800h to 1200h / 1700h to 2000h

What is the late check-in procedure?

The reception is open until 2300h. If you think that you may be arriving after 2300h, you need to call the reception +33 (0)4 79 40 25 25 to find out the late check-in procedure.

Will we have to clean our apartment?

You have to clean all dishes and put them away so the kitchen is tidy, apart from that, end of stay housekeeping is included.

Is there a resort shuttle bus and will I need to use it?

Yes, the free resort bus stops outside the residence which makes it very easy to get to the main lifts a few hundred metres down the road.
