The 5* Les Etincelles Koh I Nor residence is a great option for a luxurious ski holiday in Val Thorens. The residence is ski in, ski out, and it's a fantastic option to explore all that the vast 3 Valleys ski area offers, the largest linked ski area in the world (approx. 600km of runs) so there's something for skiers of all abilities.

The location is ideal for those looking to party as there are lots of bars in the vicinity and is a short ski back from the famous La Folie Douce apres club.

All of the elegant apartments are comfortable, have a lovely Alpine feel, and are well equipped. All of the apartments have a balcony and typical modern comforts such as a flat screen TV. Beds are made ahead of your arrival and towels are provided with a change mid-week.

A highlight of this residence is the free access guests have to the "wellness area", which has an indoor swimming pool, a sauna, a steam room, and a fitness room. Treatments are available at the sister hotel for a supplement.

The apartments come equipped with well-equipped functional kitchens (microwave, electric oven, fridge, cooker with hood, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, Nespresso machine), it makes a great choice for those wanting a self catering holiday. This means that you would be able to eat what you want when you want rather than having to have set meal times. This is a fantastic option for families with any fussy kids or for those with food allergies.

There are shops nearby in the resort for groceries, as well as plenty of lovely restaurants in the resort to sample. The residence's sister hotel (Hotel Koh-I Nor) has 3 great restaurants to try, the gastronomic restaurant "Le Diamant Noir", "L’Atelier d’Eric" for a true gourmet experience or "La Cave" to for Savoie’s finest specialties. Guests staying at the residence have the option to stay half board (breakfasts and dinners) eating at these restaurants, if you are interested in this please do ask us for more information.

For a cheaper half board option, we also have a great value partnership with an amazing local restaurant(s). This would include continental buffet breakfasts, including breads, pastries, eggs, meats and cheese, juices and hot drinks, and 3 course evening meals. Breakfasts would be served in Johns Scandinavian which is around a 5 minute walk from Koh I Nor. For the 3 course evening meals, you would have the choice of eating in Johns Scandinavian or Johns American (7 minutes from the residence).

The residence does also offer a bakery delivery service, you would just need to arrange this at the reception. Fresh bread and pastries will be sent directly to your apartment in the morning.

There are a number of different apartment types available at the residence, to suit different group sizes.

The smallest apartment available sleeps 2 people with a double bedroom. The largest apartment they have sleeps up to 8 people with 4 bedrooms (one double and three twin bedrooms).

Ski School and Ski Hire Shop Location

The nearest Skiset hire shop is 5 minutes away from the residence. The ski school meeting points are at the bottom of the resort whilst Koh I Nor is at the top of the resort, it's 15 minutes away but you can just jump on the free resort shuttle bus which will just take a few minutes.
