Ski Holidays in Les Saisies
Ski holidays in Les Saisies remains a popular choice for family ski holidays, and with good reason. Les Saisies is a lovely picturesque village with traditional alpine-style buildings, surrounded by the mountains and forests, it offers photo opportunities galore.

It's ideal for families with children, not only are the ski areas vast but there are so many alternative activities to keep the kids happy for the duration of your stay. The pistes aren't as busy as other popular French resorts so it's perfect for beginners and for groups with younger children.
Skiing In Les Saisies
In Les Saisies you can choose between 2 ski areas, Les Saisies and the Espace Diamant. Les Saises has 77km of varied pistes from beginner to advanced. Les Saisies benefits from a favourable microclimate with an average snowfall superior to that of other resorts in the region. Snow canons cover 40% of the ski area guaranteeing that regardless of the snowfall runs will be open.
For beginners, there are several free ski lifts so you can get a feel for things before you need to buy a lift pass.
The Espace Diamant has 192km of pistes with 157 runs including 30 green runs, 67 blue runs, 50 red runs and 10 black with 82 lifts and 5 snowparks. There are 704 snow canons covering vast parts of the ski area so if there's a lack of snowfall plenty of the runs can remain open.

This 4* MMV residence is located at the highest point of the great, family friendly resort of Les Saisies. Residence Les Chalet des Cimes opened in December 2018 so guests can expect fresh and modern apartments full of amenities that make for an enjoyable stay. A highlight of the residence is the spa area with large indoor heated swimming pool, hammam and sauna.
Apres Ski In Les Saisies
The apres ski in Les Saisies is not a huge focus as it's more of a family orientated resort, however, there are plenty of bars to sample.
But if, like many others, you are here with the family and not out for a party, there are plenty of lovely restaurants in Les Saisies to visit.
Les Saisies is not just about the skiing, it has so many different activities to get involved in if you want to take a break from the skis. The Moutain Sledge is well worth checking out, it is a toboggan on rails that is 800m long with accelerations, banked turns, 360 and 540 spins, it's a real thrill! If actual tobogganing is your thing, the night time tobogganing will be right up your street. There's a dedicated sledge run, the Aiglon, which kids especially will love.
Other activities include - snowshoe guided walks, bowling, snow groomer ride, snowmobiling, paragliding, Moonbikes, Fatbikes, dog sledding, airplane or helicopter rides, biathlon shooting, amongst many others.
Transfers to Les Saisies
There are no shared transfers to Les Saisies so the only way to get there is to either drive or get private transfers. Private transfers offer a door to door service and there's no waiting around at the airport. For groups of 8 (which is the sweet spot for minibus transfers) they will be pretty good value.
You can fly into Chambery, Geneva, Grenoble or Lyon for Les Saisies, those airports are in order of the closest to Les Saisies.
