Ski Holidays in Le Corbier

Ski holidays in Le Corbier are a popular choice for family ski holidays and for those on a budget. Part of the vast Les Sybelles ski area with 310km of pistes, there are plenty of runs for all skiing abilities.


The pistes aren't as busy as other popular French resorts so it's perfect for beginners and for groups with younger children. The resort is designed with families and safety in mind, it's 100% pedestrianised so there are no cars in resort, and all the accommodation is ski in, ski out making access to the pistes so easy.


Ideally, Le Corbier is a short transfer from a few airports, it's 1.5 hours from Chambery and Grenoble and 2 hours from Lyon airport (traffic depending), which again makes it a good option for families as many of the French resorts have much longer transfer times.



Skiing In Le Corbier

Sat at an altitude of 1550m, Le Corbier is a ski village that is part of the Sybelles ski area. Le Corbier is the most popular and newest resort of the 6 in the Sybelles area, guests can expect a friendly Savoyard atmosphere. In terms of the skiing, the Sybelles ski area has 310km of pistes with something for all abilities, with 136 runs including 31 green runs, 58 blue runs, 36 red runs and 11 black runs, 67 lifts and 1 snowpark. The Sybelles ski area is the 4th largest in France and the 7th largest in Europe.


Compared with the other large ski areas in France, Le Corbier and Les Sybelles is great value for money!

This 4* MMV residence is in the family friendly resort of Le Corbier and is ideally located on the piste with ski in, ski out access. Residence l'Etoile des Sybelles opened its doors in December 2020 so guests can expect modern and fresh apartments. A highlight of the residence is the spa area which has a large indoor / outdoor swimming pool, hammam and sauna.



Apres Ski In Le Corbier

As it's more of a family orientated resort, the Apres ski in Le Corbier is not a huge focus however, there are plenty of bars to sample and one club that is open until late.


But if, like many others, you are here with the family and not out for a party, there are plenty of lovely restaurants in Le Corbier to visit.


Other in-resort activities and facilities include - paragliding, there's a heated outdoor swimming pool, there's a spa to unwind after a long day on the slopes, a cinema, and a fitness centre.



Transfers to Le Corbier

There are no shared transfers to Le Corbier so the only way to get there is to either drive or get private transfers. Private transfers offer a door to door service and there's no waiting around at the airport. For groups of 8 (which is the sweet spot for minibus transfers) they will be pretty good value.


You can fly into Chambery, Grenoble, Lyon or Geneva for Le Corbier, those airports are in order of the closest to Le Corbier.
