The items that we think you should be taking on your ski trip

Packing for a ski holiday can be stressful. Whether you’re a last-minute packer or someone who packs a week in advance, there’s nothing worse than getting to resort and realising you’re missing something. We’re here to make your life easier - and not just when it comes to organising your ski trip - so here are the teams top 5 items you should always pack for your ski holiday.

Andy
  1. Starling card – Always top of my list for any trip abroad
  2. Decent shoes for resort – It can be snowy in resort, so a decent pair of shoes is important to not fall over or spend the entire evening with cold, wet feet
  3. Inner gloves – The best way to keep your hands warm on the mountain
  4. Decent rucksack – One that can handle getting wet in the snow and still keep my stuff safe
  5. A phone/tablet/laptop with access to Netflix/Amazon prime with stuff already downloaded to it – for when you are winding down in the evenings or on transfers etc. An especially good idea if you have kids with you
Dan
  1. Passport – Seems obvious but you would be surprised how often people forget it, especially when going from resort to the airport. Make sure you know where it is at all times!
  2. Berocca – To help keep you fresh on the mornings after a big night…
  3. Sunglasses – Good to have when you’re eating outside up the mountain and don’t want to sit in your goggles
  4. So many socksYou can never have enough pairs of socks with you!
  5. Flask – Great for taking a coffee up the mountain with you in the mornings
Annaliese
  1. Cereal bars – For when you get peckish up the mountain
  2. Pillow – I always take my own pillow with me for a great nights sleep
  3. A hip flask – To keep you going through the day…
  4. Speaker – Great for up the mountain, or when you’re getting ready in your apartment
  5. Lip balm – The wind and sun can really dry your lips out so a good lip balm is a must-have
Sarah
  1. UK extension cable – with at least 4 or 5 plugs. Sometimes plug sockets are so spread out around the room or there aren’t enough plugs, so I always take an extension cable
  2. Currency card – There are lots of different cards around, but anything that saves me bank fees (which could buy me another drink) is important in my eyes!
  3. Sunglasses – I’m a big fan of doing one run and then sitting in the sun with a drink for an hour, so sunglasses are essential
  4. Carrier bags – For putting anything dirty or wet in without ruining all my clean stuff
  5. Soft water bottle – Nothing more annoying than carrying around a bulky plastic bottle, a soft bottle gets smaller as you drink it
